Hi There!
I’m just your typical mom of 2.5 kids trying to find a good work life balance that allows me to feel present in my home life while being able to provide dental hygiene services in a stress free, laid back way. Providing Dental Hygiene services in my home allows me to slow down, ensure client comfort and really focus on my instrumentation and hygiene skills while keeping costs low for clients.
My passion for dentistry started at a very young age starting with that classic question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I used to look up to my dentist and dental hygienist and think about how lucky they were that they got to work there. I loved the way the front desk staff would look so happy to see me when I came in for my regular appointments. I loved all the smells and sounds of the dental office. I loved how my mouth felt after they were cleaned. It was a service I could always see value in because I knew that my mouth was always healthier when I left than it was when I walked in.
Fast forward a number of years and decisions later and I found myself with a level 2 Dental Assistant certificate, a Dental Hygiene diploma and a hunger to jump into an industry/career I had admired for as long as I can remember. I have now been working as a Dental Hygienist for 15 years.
I count myself very fortunate to have met and been mentored by women who have been working in the industry since before I was born. It has been a very fulfilling career so far, but in the back of my mind I have always known I wanted more. Running my own Dental Hygiene clinic in my home and having mobile equipment will provide more access to care for clients with mobility limitations or scheduling conflicts. I am so excited to be starting this new chapter in my career and I hope to be able to help you get your perfect SMILE in 2024!
